Specialist K9 Guarding and Service
We are proud to have the biggest k9 division in the Garden route. At our facility in Hartenbos, our full-time kennel manager properly houses, grooms, and feeds all of the business canines. Leashes, slip chains, and other common accessories are provided to all dog handlers.
We are certified to be free of any contagious diseases, and all of our dogs receive routine care from a licensed veterinarian. Upon request by the client, a certified copy of such a certificate is made accessible.
Why Dogs ?
The obvious presence of a dog serves as a highly effective deterrent for trespassing, vandalism, theft, or disorderly behavior, as has been conclusively demonstrated. Security officers without dogs are less effective than a team of well trained dog handlers and their canines.

Services are generally offered to Service Providers who adhere to all PSIRA laws and regulations. These state that the following minimum requirements must be met by any Service Provider or organization that desires to provide trained handlers and/or dogs for hire:
- A security officer working with a dog must have been trained at an accredited dog training center
- A security officer must have acquired a relevant competency DH certificate issued by PSIRA –
DH1 (entry level), up to DH5 level (substance detection), as required in line with his responsibilities
- A Security Service Provider who provides dogs and trained handlers must be accredited as a Security Dog Supplier.
